Our method

How we list

Find My Fitter is an independent directory. No fitter pays to appear, and no fitter pays to rank higher. Here's exactly how a listing gets made.

Every listing is compiled from multiple sources

We cross-reference the official fitter and stockist locators of the major manufacturers (Titleist, Ping, TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno, PXG and Cobra) with public business data. A single fitter often appears in several of these; we merge them into one record and combine the brands they're certified to fit. Every listing shows how many sources it was built from.

We label who owns the fitting

Some fitting centres are owned by a single manufacturer and only fit that brand. Independents fit across manufacturers and recommend what suits your swing. We label every fitter Independent or Brand-owned so you always know whose interests are being served.

Ranking is merit, never money

Within a town, fitters are ordered by their Google rating, weighted by how many reviews back it up, so a 4.7 from 400 golfers ranks above a 5.0 from three. That's the only thing that moves the order. There is no paid placement.

Refreshed on a schedule

Listings are rebuilt automatically from the manufacturer locators each month, and ratings are refreshed every two months. Every profile shows the date its sources were last checked, and that date reflects when we actually re-read the locators, not when the page was last rebuilt. Sources were last checked on .

We don't hand-review every listing, and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise. That means the occasional detail will be out of date or wrong. If you spot one, tell us and we'll fix it.
